1 April, 1983

Exams start on Monday. Jack finished his last year so he’s not busy at all. I told him that he can take all of the time we aren’t together and work on that band he always mentions. He seemed to weigh this as a good idea for a short while, then changed the subject. I think that means he agreed with my idea.

I can’t help but worry what will happen if he does create a successful band that tears him away from me constantly. We won’t survive that.

I’ve just realised that I haven’t mentioned our four month anniversary is in two days. That is the first time I’ve not broached the topic at least a week in advance. I hope this isn’t a sign of changing interests. Maybe I’m just comfortable and aware that Jack will never forget. He hasn’t yet!
